Situated across from CHJIMES at the junction of Bras Basah Road and Victoria Street, the Red House was a popular hangout in the 1960s, attracting artists like local watercolorist Ong Kim Seng.

In a tribute to the bygone days of the iconic Red House bakery, the "Red House Cafe" emerges as a dazzling public light art installation, located where the bakery once thrived, now the site of the Carlton Hotel. This engaging experience merges the rich history of the beloved bakery with the vibrancy of contemporary cafe culture. This installation captivates visitors with a visually stunning display that blends nostalgia with modern artistry, inviting everyone to partake in a journey through time and light.
